Objective

To instill discipline, leadership, patriotism, and a spirit of service among students through NCC training, activities, and community engagement in alignment with the aims and objectives of the National Cadet Corps.

Responsibilities
  • Organize regular NCC parades, drills, and training sessions as per NCC HQ/Unit guidelines.
  • Promote awareness and participation in national integration camps, social service, adventure activities, and defense-related programs.
  • Ensure discipline and commitment among enrolled cadets.
  • Coordinate with NCC battalion officers for training schedules, uniform distribution, and certifications.
  • Encourage cadets to appear for B & C Certificate Examinations.
  • Maintain records of training, attendance, camps, and achievements of cadets.
Things to Consider
  • Strict adherence to NCC HQ/unit protocols, dress code, and discipline guidelines.
  • Promote inclusivity, leadership, and teamwork among cadets.
  • Ensure timely communication with cadets regarding schedules, camps, and exams.
  • Maintain collaboration with the institution's administration and local NCC unit/battalion.
Protocol to be Followed
  1. Committee Composition
    • The NCC Club shall be led by an Associate NCC Officer (ANO).
    • Supporting faculty/staff may assist in coordinating activities.
    • Appoint cadet leaders and volunteers for organizing internal programs.
  2. Enrollment and Registration
    • Conduct an orientation and enrollment drive at the beginning of the academic year.
    • Ensure physical fitness and willingness for service are criteria during selection.
    • Complete registration formalities in coordination with the NCC battalion/unit.
  3. Training and Parades
    • Schedule regular parades and training sessions as per NCC norms.
    • Maintain attendance register, training activity log, and instructor sign-in sheet.
    • Ensure availability of required training materials and parade ground.
  4. Camps and Programs
    • Encourage participation in ATC, RDC, CATC, NIC, trekking and adventure camps.
    • Guide cadets for registration, travel, documentation, and reporting procedures.
  5. Certification
    • Prepare cadets for B Certificate and C Certificate examinations.
    • Conduct mock tests, revision classes, and assist with documentation.
  6. Social Service and Outreach
    • Organize blood donation camps and Swachh Bharat cleanliness drives.
    • Conduct awareness rallies such as Anti-Drug and Road Safety campaigns.
    • Promote disaster relief and emergency volunteer work.
  7. Uniform and Equipment
    • Distribute uniforms, kits, and accessories through proper channels.
    • Maintain a uniform inventory register and record return/damage if applicable.
  8. Collaboration and Communication
    • Coordinate regularly with the NCC Battalion HQ and Commanding Officer.
    • Attend meetings, submit reports, and follow directives from higher NCC authorities.
  9. Reporting and Documentation
    • Submit semester-wise reports to the Principal and NCC Unit.
    • Maintain photo and video documentation of key events.
    • Record number of cadets enrolled, activities conducted, camp participation, and certificates earned.
  10. Discipline and Conduct
    • Monitor cadet behavior and ensure the code of conduct is followed on and off campus.
    • Address indiscipline promptly and report serious issues to the ANO and NCC unit.
